The great fall weather we have been having seems to have ended in rain on Sunday. This left the mountain tops looking sugar coated, but the predicted flurries down to the valley bottom yesterday didn’t materialize. Still the whitened peaks at least make if feel like sliding season is approaching.
The sunny bits today were rather pretty.
A couple of new mast mounted snow guns have materialized. This one is right at the bottom of China Wall.
The other is beside the old T-Bar base station at the Bear’s Den.
Bear is still quite bare.
Fernie really does have easy runs. This is Elk from under the Elk chair.
Now that is a mushroom!
