Prep/Line Cook - Kelsey's - Fernie Alpine Resort

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the position of Kelsey’s Restaurant Line/Prep Cook, at Fernie Alpine Resort. Reporting to the manager on duty, the ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with a willingness to learn new skills, have a positive attitude and be teamwork-oriented, is flexible and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Duties:
• Prepare food items according to Kelsey’s specifications
• Follow kitchen’s systems & principles
• Promote a safe, sanitized work environment, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, safety and food storage management
• Flexible, versatile, and thrive on working in a fast-paced environment
• Ensuring the highest level of service and guest experience
• Provide non-stop team work with your teammates and managers
Qualifications:
• Previous cook and food preparation experience preferred but not required, will train suitable candidate
• Cook training certification an asset
• Food safe certification preferred but not required
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills
