We still have a bit of work to do before we register as a legal co-operative and can begin accepting members.
But that doesn't mean that you need to wait to get involved.
Briefly, here is a timeline of what we would like to achieve in the next few months:
- Identify founding members and first directors. We would prefer to have community members volunteer to be directors from the outset.
- Write Memorandum of Association, including the purpose of the co-operative and the share structure.
- Write Rules of the Association, including membership terms, meetings, director elections, and financial matters.
- Solicit members.
- Board elections.
