Co-operative participation

We still have a bit of work to do before we register as a legal co-operative and can begin accepting members.

But that doesn't mean that you need to wait to get involved.

Briefly, here is a timeline of what we would like to achieve in the next few months:

  1. Identify founding members and first directors. We would prefer to have community members volunteer to be directors from the outset.
  2. Write Memorandum of Association, including the purpose of the co-operative and the share structure.
  3. Write Rules of the Association, including membership terms, meetings, director elections, and financial matters.
  4. Solicit members.
  5. Board elections.
