The 18th Annual Great Fernie 3300 Duck Race 2008 will take to the water on the Elk River this coming Saturday 20th 2008 at 11am. Ducks will be set free at the North Bridge (near Alpine Trails) and the first one to make it to the South Bridge (at Rip n' Richards) is the winner.
This annual event is the 3300 club's flagship fundraiser. At $5 per duck, up to 3300 ducks mean a lot of community support. All funds raised go directly back into the community to support various youth programs.
Prizes include:
Air Canada trip for two anywhere in North America (max value $1500) or $1000 cash.
Home Building Centre BBQ worth $600

Overwaitea Shopping Certificate worth $500
