Cameron K. Purvis is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from the Kootenay region of British Columbia. After enjoying local success in the 1990s as frontman for a BC Interior rock group, Cameron began touring as a soloist, playing clubs and cafes from Prince George to Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
An avid guitarist, bassist, vocalist and keyboardist, Cameron is best known for writing infectious pop melodies that never fail to stay with the listener long after the song has ended.
Cameron formed The Spartans with Neale Bennett and drummer Paul Bennett in 2005 in Calgary, Alberta. Cameron and Paul also formed the Calgary rock collective The Wax Poets in late 2006 with whom they have toured across Canada and received favourable press nationwide and beyond.
