Today (Sunday) at 5:15pm, in front of the Arts Station! It’s been two years since the CP Holiday Train has rolled through Fernie but this year will be just as memorable as the last with performers like Valdy, Brothers dude and Tracey Brown.

Since 1999, the Holiday Train has collected $5.6 million and over 2.45 million pounds of food in Canada and the United States. Let’s do our part to help out this holiday season!

The Food Bank Canada says the most need food items are pasta products, rice, canned meats and fish, dry and canned soups & stews, canned fruit & vegetables, breakfast cereal, peanut butter, canned/powdered milk, fruit juices, pasta sauce, beans & legumes, and baby food but, just remember, there are lots of options out their when donating so, as long as the items are non-perishable, use your imagination in your donation!

This year fan favourite, Valdy will be performing so bundle up, bring your non perishables and head out!
