The Snow is falling thick and fast and Fernie Alpine Resort is ready to welcome you back to the slopes. Head on out and enjoy opening day of legendary powder for great discounted rates! Lifts start cranking at 9am on Saturday, December 13th.
Limited terrain and early seasons conditions will exist on the mountain, but natural snow continues to accumulate in Fernie’s legendary alpine bowls. The ski resort has received 16cm of new snow in the past week and the current forecast is calling for moderate to heavy snowfall on Friday, so be sure to give your thanks to Griz.
Due to the limited terrain available, Fernie will offer a reduced adult day lift ticket rate of $49, with reduced rates available for senior, youth and child tickets.
The Griz Bar will be open this weekend, featuring live music by Rick Voisey on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate the start of a new ski season.
