One mountain town, two mountain girls, with a mutual love for trails, races, sweat & exhilaration. Thus was born Fernie's First Annual Mountain Duathlon, encompassing all that and then some. Tears & Gears for example.
This first annual mountain duathlon is hitting Fernie this summer, designed to test the abilities, determination and strength of participants, while also celebrating the amazing terrain and trails available in Fernie. Not to mention adding to the already impressive array of biking and running events held in this town August through October.
So this Sunday September 12th make a space in your diary, grab your gear, your running or biking partner and start hitting those Fernie trails in preparation. It could be wet, hot, muddy or all three, but whatever the weather, we hope it to be the start of an ever growing and developing race for years to come.
