Advocates for Local Living presents a "Green Drinks" evening with guest speaker John Alton of the Nelson Car Share Co-op at the Brickhouse, 2nd Ave, 7pm, Thursday October 23rd.
Car sharing is an increasingly popular way to "own" a car without the hassle of maintainance and depreciation.
To make this service available in Fernie, the Nelson Co-op are willing to sign up members in the Fernie area, and provide a car for use in Fernie. This is a great way for members in Fernie to enjoy all the benefits of car sharing without having to set up a board, website or accountancy.
