Better than barter, a community currency weaves community one hour at a time. For every hour you spend doing something for someone in your community, you earn one 'hour credit'. Then you have a 'hour credit' to spend on having someone do something for you. It's that simple. Yet it also has profound effects. Community Currency’s change communities. Time Banking is a social change movement in 22 countries and six continents.
Green Drinks is an opportunity for good green conversation and to enjoy a drink. From 7 to 9pm, we will explore what community currency is all about with movies, a slide show, and an interactive activity - all during our casual green drinks atmosphere.
