Lisa Gareau-Tosh - Art Station Gallery

Jan 29 2010 - 10:00am
Feb 22 2010 - 5:00pm

Lisa has spent the past six winters in Fernie and the past lifetime making art.

Whether in small-town Saskatchewan or small-city British Columbia, Liza has a keen interest in people and a watchful eye for how people can be made to be artful. This is the essence of her show at the Arts Station. From the figure to the visage, this show is a departure from her usual colourful abstracts that have been seen in Fernie over the years. Liza considers portraiture and sketching a throwback to her roots as an artist. Come find out why she got into it in the first place. This show combines portraiture, figure drawings, acrylic paintings and lithographs.
