Not sure what to do with those extra cardboard boxes or recycling materials, too lazy to take them to the depot? Well Fernie Alpine Resort has a solution for you – use all your recyclable material and create a creative and original Cardboard Box Derby craft! Bring your constructed craft to Fernie and launch it “gracefully” down a designated ski slope and aim for the target on the snow. While there are no points for speed (this is not a race), entrants win points for creativity of their design and target accuracy – make your craft simple or complex, with up to 4 pilots allowed to ride in the craft to “navigate” down the hill! Good times to be had and fantastic prizes to be won!!
