Join an inspiring group of women for this 3 day all inclusive mountain retreat. This year’s retreat offers an opportunity for women to connect with their intuition through interactive workshops and self discovery while exploring the natural beauty that Island Lake has to offer.
Angela Naccarato, a poet, lecturer, and writer born and raised in Fernie now living in Vancouver, joins our retreat this year with a lecture and poetry workshop. Angela’s lecture will cover the language of dreams, which evolves through the path of the intuition. Each dream comes with a message, creating an opportunity for awareness and growth. In Angela’s workshop, participants will learn to use their intuition as a tool to release energy from the body by writing their thoughts on paper. Through this process, participants will discover the creativity and magic that is within each of us.
Lee-Anne Walker is passionate about Fernie. She is a naturalist, environmental educator, advocate for sustainable development, eco-tour guide and an avid outdoors-woman. Owner of Fernie Nature Tour, Lee-Anne will once again be offering her entertaining and informative guided nature and botanical walks through the Old Growth forest at Island Lake.
Gina Nicolaas, founding teacher and facilitator from the Mind Yoga™ Institute, will host an interactive and informative workshop. Mind Yoga™, meaning “union with the mind of spirit”, is a unique program based on ancient principles and specifically designed to stretch and elevate the mind to higher levels of consciousness. Inspirational and moving, Gina’s workshop was so well received at last year’s retreat that we are very pleased she
is joining us again this year.
Sue Bawden is the owner of Evolve Ink Coaching & Consulting, a Fernie based business dedicated to both life coaching and business consulting. In her workshop, she plays with the law of attraction through the understanding of our thoughts and the powerful use of mantras on conscious and sub conscious levels.
This year’s retreat will also include a welcome night social, a 60 minute treatment of your choice at the Spa at Island Lake, live entertainment, guided adventure hikes and discovery walks, and yoga twice daily. We welcome you to come and participate in all activities and workshops, or simply relax and rejuvenate in this magnificent Rocky Mountain sanctuary.
Join us for this inspirational and memorable experience!
