Fernie Nature club is in its first year of Activities. Formed last September and affiliated with Nature BC. The club is primarily an activity club which hopes to become involved in many community activities and projects which would enhance some of the natural areas around our community and inform and educate area residents and visitors to the area regarding some of the natural beauty and diversity of Fernie and the surrounding area.
It is mainly an activity club where we hike and explore nature and participate in activities which will improve and enhance some of the natural situations in and around our community.
Our membership costs 20.00/ individual /year and 30.00 family membership. Each member after joining automatically becomes a member of BCNature and the Federation of BC Naturalists.
