Fernie Secondary School has a population of approximately 450 students. Fernie Secondary School, built in 1998, offers a variety of courses for grades eight through 12. In the winter, Fernie is known for its skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling activities and in the summers are perfect for golf, hiking, camping, biking, fishing and may other activities.
