Major props to the evening and overnight crews who work on making the ski hill a pleasure for people to ski/ride.

I don't normally stick to groomers all day but today I decided to have a day riding switch with my new-found friend Joe. We stuck to groomers after weeks of riding some great trees and powder.

And boy were they beautifully groomed - we did Currie, Lizard and Cedar all day and they were all super sweet. My switch riding is coming on leaps and bounds, though I kept wanting to head for the trees.

Yay.

Agreed!

Blair and co. do a great job of grooming - and not just runs that we normally think of as "groomers" but also mowing down bumps on runs such as Boomerang ridge so that they are much more pleasant after a dump of fresh snow.

While there are many valid criticisms of RCR, the grooming is definitely one area that has improved by leaps and bounds since Heiko ran the place so we should give credit where credit is due.
