During the Second World War, posters appeared declaring that "Careless Talk Costs Lives" and "Beware: The Walls Have Ears". They cautioned people against blabbing information to all and sundry in public places in case the info you gave away was overheard by spies from "the other side".

Well, guess what RCR Dave (badge 'location' info intentionally left blank to protect the guilty) - next time you're sat in the Daylodge at 11am pouring scorn on 16 year olds who are dissing your employer about their decision to remove jumps from their terrain parks, think about what you're actually saying. For starters, it's not just a bunch of 16 year old kids who think the decision sucks.

Is it really the case that this is a good move because "everyone accepts the natural risks and if they injure themselves on the rest of the hill then at least it's not on a feature that RCR have built"?

To tell 4 ski hosts who are making reasonable suggestions about how to improve RCR's public image over this "safety decision" that RCR will "win the war" (is there one? is that official RCR parlance or just your own?) and that kids are pretty much dumb between the ages of 12 and, get this, 25... keep your voice down.

When you're laughing at the suggestion of a ski host that RCR holds little focus groups and actually tries to listen to feedback from some disgruntled customers, don't reply so loudly with the idea that if the ski host is cool to have 50 people show up in her house then maybe you'll report the idea back to management.

Totally and utterly unprofessional to be airing the kind of stuff that I heard on Wednesday in the Daylodge in front of a bunch of customers.

I am almost lost for words. Careless talk costs.

surprising? no. Exactly what we already knew. They have no clue, they never will.

A focus group to listen to customers concerns? why would any business ever do such a thing?

I have edited both. You went too far on that one skierboy and Steve I only edited your post because it referred directly to skierboys comment.

There is absolutely no need to refer to anyone in such a negative and personal manner in these forums.

how do you know this is Ryland... it could be anyone

I am sorry for my slanderous and untruthful posting RE: Dave. I should have never personally attacked anyone on this forum, or any forum for that matter.

Careless drunken posting also costs lives~
