I think this might have been mentioned here already, but I couldn't find the link so thought I'd post it to help people decide who to vote for during the upcoming federal election. I answered the questions trying to be as impartial as possible, not only keeping my own wants and needs in mind, but keeping in mind what might be in the best interest of our entire country as well as our country's role as a member of the global community. It's pretty interesting, I think. Try it out for yourself.

if you want to defeat the conservatives right here at home. Vote NDP. Mark Shmigelsky is a star candidate, a great guy and will be a great voice for our region in Ottawa. Especially if Layton becomes our PM as is now looking like a real possibility.

We CAN do it! You just have to get out there and vote.

Actually, Layton becoming our PM doesn't look like a real possibility at all. The polls show the Conservatives ,led by PM Harper, leading at 37.8%. I love when people start a thread, simply asking people to get educated and vote, and you can't help but throw in a "vote for us" line in there.

1. What makes you think voting NDP will defeat the Conservatives as opposed to any other party?
2. What makes you think people want to defeat the Conservatives?
3. Did you vote for Mark Shmigelsky when he was in the Liberal Party?
4. Why are evironmentalists always trying to infiltrate political partys? Is this democracy?
5. Do you love democracy? If so, why aren't you trying to convince people to vote, not who to vote for?
6. Did you do the votecompass test? If so what was the result?
7. When you say he'd be a great voice for "our" region, do you really mean a great voice for you and Wildsight?
8. Lobbyist??

1. What makes you think voting NDP will defeat the Conservatives as opposed to any other party?

This is a traditional swing riding and NDP has been second to conservatives all the time.

2. What makes you think people want to defeat the Conservatives?

3. Did you vote for Mark Shmigelsky when he was in the Liberal Party?

I was not yet able to vote when Mark was running as a Liberal.

4. Why are evironmentalists always trying to infiltrate political partys? Is this democracy?

Why are oil companies and big banks trying to infiltrate political parties? Is this democracy?

5. Do you love democracy? If so, why aren't you trying to convince people to vote, not who to vote for?

Vote for Mark Shmigelsky!

6. Did you do the votecompass test? If so what was the result?

Bloc Quebecois

7. When you say he'd be a great voice for "our" region, do you really mean a great voice for you and Wildsight?

Yes. And for you. You should talk to him. He wants to work for everyone. Not just his supporters.

8. Lobbyist??

Are you registered?

Ya, I love the "he wants to work for you" and the "he'll represent the common man" and "he's a hard worker" and "he'll represent everyone, not just his supporters" like all the other candidates wouldn't. Like all the others are oil company slaves who will ignore the common people and go to Ottawa to be the face of big business and industry. I don't have an agenda, I just want people to vote. Unlike conservationvoters (scam) and wildsight (you) who continually try to push certain political parties on th public, for there own agenda. Bottom line, VOTE!

If voting made real changes it would be ILLEGAL

Democracy must be something more than two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner.
