What better way to recycle your clothes than to participate in the Fernie Clothing Swap?
Sponsored by the Women's Centre and the Snow Valley Motel, this popular Fernie event is scheduled for May 23rd (I'll post the time later).
What's it all about?
Go through your clothes and decide what you don't need anymore and make sure it is clean and not torn. Bag or box it up, and take it to the women's centre on any weekday. On May 23 at the community centre, we open the doors for a big free for all! You come and browse for absolutely free through the mountains of clothing donated. We do not keep tabs on who donates, as donating is not mandatory. Please come out and browse, you never know what you will find. Spread the word, we always have way too many leftovers at the end of the day!

If you are a 9-5er and can't make the women's centre, please PM me and we can arrange weekend drop offs.
Volunteers are needed. Preferrably with a pick up truck. We usually need around 5 people to help set up tables, organize clothes and transport the items to the community centre. PM me for more info.
