The Public Health Association of BC recently announced the launch of a new program, Every Lawn A Garden. Every Lawn A Garden's mission is for every household in BC to have a food garden (a 'local' food supply) and for every community in BC to increase the capacity of its local food supply through a system of community and local gardens. Every Lawn a Garden operates on a partnership model, working with municipal governments, community organizations, employers, citizens, and others to promote food producing gardens, and is supported by an online gardening community to connect people, organizations, and ideas.
