Is it possible to put links to the Last Page of a thread next to the forum link on the main topic page?
It's just one click difference from clicking the "Last" link at the bottom of page 1, but it's a nice touch to have.

Even better would be to have a button on each post that said "set placeholder".. then whenever you return to a topic, the site would automatically take you not only to the page on which that post now existed, but would also scroll down so that you could very easily start reading where you left off.

It's how my own site's forums work and it's *much* easier to keep track of things Eye-wink

At the moment neither of these options are pratical given the software that we use - http://drupal.org. However it doesn't mean that we won't be able to do something in future Sticking out tongue.
