Nothing like a little manufactured drama to make your point.

It's about as classy as Elizabeth May's new website boldly asserting "your parents f*cked up the planet". Clearly it's important to the movement to indoctrinate our children.

The real cost of carbon-based wealth transfer begins to become more obvious.

In related news, anthropomorphic global warming theory is on increasingly shaky ground.

The IPCC has been infiltrated by horrible politics, bent on only one thing - transferring wealth. The real goal of Kyoto is to transfer money to third world countries in the form of imaginary CO2 credits.

The reality is the IPCC conclusions are constantly being challenged. When some IPCC scientists that have signed the document have asked to have their names removed, and some have quit the organization altogether one should start to some raise flags of one’s own. Especially when scientists left because they felt science was becoming political.

A recent article in the journal, Science, points how flawed the computer generated projections likely are, and more insidiously, how ad hoc they may be.

Real scientists ask questions, and are rarely willing to go on TV and make broad ranging statements. Scientists tend to be cautious and always re-evaluate the evidence.

William Gray:
Gray acknowledges that we’ve had some warming the past 30 years. “I don’t question that,” he explains. “And humans might have caused a very slight amount of this warming. Very slight. But this warming trend is not going to keep on going. My belief is that three, four years from now, the globe will start to cool again, as it did from the middle ’40s to the middle ’70s.”

I tend to believe these scientists over people with no credibility like David Suzuki or Al Gore.

it is always fascinating when it becomes acceptable to categorize entire groups of people by a specific label, in this case a political party. Just imagine if it was done for ethnic individuals as casually as it is for political parties. Time to reexamine beliefs if you view an entire group as holding specific traits, qualities and characteristics.

save the planet is the message I hear. Might it be that the planet is fine yet the people are screwed?

People are not evil, and the planet is fine. We've come a long way since 1970.

The video portrays an oppressive government crushing free speech, harming children who speak out against climate change. The intent of this video is to provoke an emotional response, it is a non-objective drama intended to revulse and anger the viewer. The premise is that government is corrupt because they're not taking action.

Demonization is an important tactic in activism, enemies are valuable because without them there is complacency and apathy and a tendency to spend time enjoying one's self.

This video demonizes government. Elizabeth May's website demonizes parents. Neither is illegal in our free society. But for the sake of our children who may not yet have learned to discern drama from fact it's vital that we as parents and adults teach them to question that which is put before them.

The UK has anti-indoctrination laws that prohibit this kind of manipulation of children. In October 2007 a UK judge ruled that Al Gore's award-winning documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" contained 9 serious inaccuracies and ordered that any showing in schools must be followed by a discussion of these inaccuracies or viewing of a countervailing documentary such as "Global Warming Swindle".

Bringing this home I don't think Wildsight should receive our tax dollars to indoctrinate our children in Elk Valley schools without countervailing information. Adults can filter the propaganda but our kids mustn't be manipulated.

If holding this view makes me a Conservative, or a Liberal... so be it. I'll wear it like a badge of honor.

Your views do not make you anything but sensible. I was taught from a very early age to question everything, especially that which came from those in a position of authority over me. It did not mean that I had to voice those questions at the time, but question none the less.
