Who is this Matt in Matt's Blog????
Have you read his newest posting. LOL.

COPY and PASTED:

Given reports from other ski resorts it sounds like Fernie Alpine Resort has not only the deepest total snowfall in the Canadian Rockies but also the best snow conditions. Fernie is well known for having soft natural snow to the locals but people from a far may not realize this. Fernie not only has lots of natural snow but most importantly it is 'Soft' for those intermediate and beginner skiers and snowboarders. As it is much more enjoyable to ski and ride on soft snow. Make sure and get to Fernie, BC, and try the best in Soft, Natural Snow in the Rockies!

Sounds like a fair evaluation of the current snow condition in Fernie to me. What part of that is the "rcr lies"?

The snow conditions are great. There is good coverage and no lines, what more do you want???

RCR is reporting the right info for once.

ya, i wouldn't doubt that we have the best conditions in the canadian rockies. we usually do.

the snow report on the other hand.... I don't think it has changed since opening day.

"great conditions, especially on the upper mountain" has been in the report every day!

Well what else would you expect them to say- that's the truth, and has been since opening day....

kinda on alot of days... there has been alot of top to bottom great days when the report doesn't change.

i like reports that change everyday. And have some creativity. Ever read castle mountains daily reports? i usually get a laugh out of it whenever I read it.
