lift prices?

i am coming to fernie in jan till march and looking to snowboard most days, but don't want to pay 1300 dollars for a season pass when i am only out there for two months, is there anyway around this so it works out cheaper for me? i have looked at doing it day by day but this works out more expencesive!! any input would be very welcome.. many thanks nocky

season pass would be cheapest if you wanna ride most days. Just gotta bite the bullet and buy one. Sorry dude.

They have this card, called the 'Ski More Card' (used to be the lake louise card) and it saves you money each day you ski, and you get a few free days, the card costs 69.95 i think. they are on sale till dec 26 only. http://www.skimorecard.com/

that doesn't preclude getting a work visa and working at the area.

sometimes less. depends on the country of origin and who is handling the paper work. the sort of job you have/seek (slots for out of country workers) and so on.

hi guys yeah work visa is out the question so no working for me, thanks for all the info on this im either going to go for the season pass and get it out the way with or try that ski card thanks again

I wish people would stop about the passes being so much.I will break this down if you gonna live in fernie don't but you pass at full price.If you were to buy an early bird winter pass it's approx 800 depends on how much the pass increase is and a summer pass is approx 150 so this put us at 950 and we are open approx 8mth a year so divide 950 buy 12 months let call it 72 buck for easy math thats like 36 dollars every pay day for the year so if you can't afford that for 8 months of fun something wrong
