Looking for a French School?

Qui est éligible au programme francophone ?
L’article 23 de la Charte canadienne des droits et libertés garantit aux citoyennes et citoyens canadiens établis en C.-B. le droit de faire instruire leurs enfants dans un programme d’éducation francophone :

si leur langue maternelle est le français ou o si elles ou ils ont reçu leur instruction primaire en français au Canada ou
si elles ou ils ont un enfant qui a reçu son instruction au niveau primaire ou secondaire en français au Canada ou
si elles ou ils ont un enfant qui a déjà commencé son instruction en français au Canada.
Les immigrantes et immigrants reçus sont également éligibles.

Nous recherchons des enfants de tout age pour nous aider a pouvoir avoir ici a Fernie une ecole francophone. If your first language learned and still understood is French
If you received your primary school instruction in Canada in French (excluding French Immersion)
If one of your children has received primary or secondary school instruction in Canada in French (excluding French Immersion)
If you have a child who is receiving primary or secondary school instruction in Canada in French (excluding French Immersion

We are looking for potential students of all ages for an opening of a French school in Fernie starting September 2008. Qu'est ce que je fais si je veux trouver une ecole avec l'immersion Francais ici en Fernie, ou meme une ecole avec 1/2 Francais immersion? Je pense qu'il sera mieux et peut-etre tu trouvera plusieurs gens qui pourrai signer si c'etait pour une ecole Francophone qui a aussi les lessons en Francais pour les Anglophones qui veut apprendre Francais. Pourquoi pas commencer une ecole francophone qui invite les anglophones aussi pour 2 or 3 jours par semaine pour une programme d'immersion.

What do I do if I want to find a school with French immersion here in Fernie, or even a school with 1/2 of an immersion program? I think it would be better and maybe you could get more signatures if it was for a French school that also had lessons in French for those who want to learn French. Why not start a French school which invites English kids as well for 2 or 3 days a week for an immersion program?

merci pour vos commentaires, l'immersion se retrouve a l'ecole Isabella Dicken je crois qu'ils ont un super programme d'apres des amis qu'ils frequentent cet ecole, mais le conseil scolaire francophone est un programme tres different de l'immersion en francais. thanks for your comments , french immersion will be found at Isabella Dicken. I heard it is a great programm from friends that go to the french immersion. The french school is a very different programm and if you would like some more information you can check their website www.csf.bc.ca.
