We had 2 small kids dirt bikes stolen from our garage in Oct 2006. I was brand new, never yet ridden. The other was an older one.
The RCMP have since located the newer one, all the info they would give us was that is was found in the back yard of someone's house here in Fernie. They (the people who lived there)swore they knew nothing about this bike. They counldn't even tell us if these people were going to be charged with possession of stolen property.
There is a bit of damage done, the key is missing. But we did not get the other bike back.
The older one is a yellow Suzuki 60 (has a plate on front handle bars with number 99 on it.) So if anyone out there sees or knows of anyone having this or trying to sell. Let me know at 423-3866 or 423-1910 or call the RCMP at 423-4404.

On Saturday April 21st I was at the Northern. Someone took my black and white leather coat - politely leaving my ID on the windowsill outside. After leaving my coat in a puddle and throwing my car keys across the street - they removed my metallic pink Razor cellphone. My phone has now been reported stolen and will not be able to be reactivated.
If you know the whereabouts of my cellphone please call 250 423 1557 and leave a message. I am giving a reward - no questions asked - for the return of my phone. No hardfeelings but I really miss my phone and the contacts are very important. If you don't feel like meeting me - please return to the post office and address it to PO Box 2131 Fernie BC V0B 1M0.

Don't laugh, pigeons make good pets!
Penelope our pigeon didn't come home tonight. She was probably lost in the rain. She is a homing (not so good at it obviously) pigeon with a pink band on her leg. Missing from West Fernie. Please let me know if you see her. She is very wary of strangers but flies to my shoulder when I call her. Any sightings, please call 423-8390 so I can come and bring her home. Oddly enough, the kids miss her.

missing Kona Cindercone hard tail mountainbike copper in colour , this bike is about 10 years old but makes a great townie, it's not mine but if seen contact Jenny at Island Lake office , no questions asked.
