This week on FernieTV Mary chats with Emily Brydon of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team. Emily is a World Cup winner, 7 time medalist and 2 time Olympian.

The Emily Brydon Youth Foundation was established in 2006 to provide financial assistance to youth in the Elk Valley, who do not otherwise have the financial means, in pursuing sports, the arts, education or other positive pursuits in order to pursue their individual interests and dreams. The Emily Brydon Foundation golf tournament takes place Sat Sept 19 at the Fernie Golf and Country Club.

This week on FernieTV Mary has 2 new episodes with guests Shanon and Marv Harwood, Shamanic Practitioners and founders of Kimmapii Spirit Energies. In one episode Mary discusses the concepts of shamanism with her guests. In the second episode they discuss the "Kimmapii Kids" project.

One of the tenets of Shamanism is the concept of “Ayni” reciprocity and balance. To be in “Ayni” is to walk in the world striving to “give back” as much as you receive. To this end, they created Kimmapii Kids – a charitable organization designed to give boxes of much needed school supplies to poverty stricken children in developing countries.
