a far more interesting number would be the amount the film company spend in town during the pre-film set up and the actual filming. and break that down into fees to the city, employment and services (rentals, food, lodging and such)
I'm sure they are spending a hell of a lot. It's definitely a plus for the community in all ways. Now if only our local idiots would stop damaging their props...ie crushing those fake snowbanks etc....grow up people.

also add in the money they are paying businesses for use of their venues for filming purposes, all the people they are hiring locally etc.
And of course to mention the streakers from the bars and the zombie walk that the film crews have had to deal with. Some good Fernie Flavour for the hollywood folk.!

BTW most of the damage done to the fake snowbanks is from people trying to park their cars.
