New to Fernie!

My partner and I are moving to Fernie very soon, already found our home in the annex, and I'd love to start out right by finding some great ppl to get to know and enjoy the good life of fernie with:)

I lived in fernie the summer of 2010 and loved it so much we've decided to move for the long haul. Its such a great town full of color and natural beauty, so much activity in one place is awesome!

We're both late 20's and we have a little husky dog. We love fishing, hiking and hitting the mtn which I hope to do alot of:) I will be on my own a fair bit as my partner works up north so it'd be great to meet some chicks that are into being outside and my dog would love some puppy buddies:)

I feel like I'm writting for a dating service but hopefully this helps us meet some great ppl that love the outdoors as much as we do!

Any clubs or groups that I could join would be sweet too! Any suggestions?

I agree. Fernie is awesome. My wife and I have been here about 5 years. I recommend checking out the Fernie Fix website; it hs a good events calendar.

Hi Jenn,

I am partially new to fernie as my family has been here 1 year now. It may sound silly but i should have placed an add for friends a long time ago as it has been a little difficult finding good friends to spend time with !! lol I have a 3 year old belgian mallinoux and walks are always in if you are interested. Also my husband has 4 on 4 off shifts so some days get pretty lonely/boring. Wednsday nights there is a night out for ladies who like to stitch ... its called stitch n bitch lol. I too am in my late 20s so if your ever up for tea or coffee let me know! Cheers and Happy New Year
