OurFernie needs your photos!

Have you noticed the photos on ourFernie changed recently?

We update our site photos each season and we are now looking for new additions to add to the current crop of stunning shots.

The photo of the husky currently gracing the headings column on the homepage was a guest submission; all of the photos on our site are local shots from local people - everyone from the folks with a Nikon autofocus to professional photographers who will spend days waiting for that "perfect" shot.

We are currently looking for photos to feature on both the page photo spots and also in the banner heading spot on the homepage.

To submit photos you will need to be signed in. Click the "Photos" tab, then click the "add a photo" link and upload your photo. Photos we receive will be assessed for content and if suitable, will be upgraded to appear on the website pages.

You can submit any photos you like (clean content only) however for promotion to the website we require:
Fernie subject matter - places, people, wildlife, views
wider formats work better than portrait shots
Clear images with an obvious focal point or repeating pattern - tiny objects off in the distance don't show up well in our smaller format

And remember that banner photo! For this we need a very clear view in a large, panoramic shot. Maximum 816x184 pixels.
