PPP one week

So ......What 's going on with the PPP, any "Official" news, the river is extremely dangerous at the present time.

RCR ....Please do some kinda press release to OURFERNIE.com and Fernie.com and hey how about a radio release just to let the public know what's going on, or even just be able to give an answer on the phone when I call.

Somebody in marketing should be able to handle that.

I think "extremely dangerous" is stretching it a little. However anyone paddling needs to be aware.

A press release just issued by RCR re: the PPP says, "Fernie Alpine Resort has received a whopping 1107cm (over 36 feet) of snow to date this season. Therefore, course conditions, especially the road and the river, are variable this year. Participant safety is a priority for the organizers. Event organizers will be monitoring all areas of the course, and course changes may be made to ensure the fun and safety of all participants.

So, that's the official word at this point.
