Just to let every one know, there is a problem with the water supply at the ski hill. There is a limited supply right now, so it is really important to conserve as much as possible. There is also an issue with turbidity, so they are telling people to boil water before drinking, cooking etc. |

Thanks for posting this. I received the notice at about 10pm last night but it didn't say anything about a limited supply of water, just the high turbidity issue. I did receive about 10 little complimentary bottles of bottled water from the ski hill.... nice, eh?

I absolutely agree. The number of water bottles I've seen thrown away in the past few days is disgusting. And a lot of them have been opened and sipped once and then tossed. However, to people in vacation or business trips boiling all their water is a bit of a hassle.

It was sarcasm... about thinking that receiving complimentary bottles of water was nice. geez.

The boil water notice has been lifted now. They recommend that you run your taps for 5 minutes to flush all the potentially dirty water out before drinking. And as far as the bottled water goes, it was some of the hotels that gave it away for free. I agree that it was a nice gesture, just that some people are wasteful no matter what the situation. FAR did kindly point out that the Pantry stocked a limited supply of bottles, but didn't offer any freebies that I know of.
