what is up with tourism Fernie? /Fernie DMO? i have sent a few email inquiries in the past while and never received a response. my inquiries were about partnering with them on projects to bring more tourism to fernie.. like event packages etc. one was about organizing a huge conference here in Fernie that could have brought in lots of stays. never any responses... what use is this organization again? |

It is what we make it, pretty much like everything in Fernie.
Tell me more about your conference. Mid-size (500+) high-end conferencing is what I love to do, and I haven't had any opportunity here to date. Let's make it happen.

I have recently started a little event planning guide for fernie called small town social.
BUT my point is, the small town social blog is up and running and it's purpose is to promote Fernie and the people and businesses here.
this may not be exactly what you're looking for here but if you need to promote any packages etc, let me know...or if you can think of a way to work together. who knows. who. knows.

I'm not sure what's going on at Fernie Tourism but I have heard that there is only 1 person working there...rumours won't help you though.
Strangely enough, I have been seeing an abundance of fernie tourism ads. They're everywhere!

Tourism Fernie has a office situated on 2nd Avenue. Will is the guy you will want to talk to...he is extremly helpful with regards to any person or business with regards to promoting Fernie

I'd really rather all the tourists disappear and tourism wasn't promoted in Fernie, but that's just me.
