Did your opinion get recorded last night?

If you attended the CBM Community Consultation Forum last night, and you had an opinion on whether this should take place or not, regardless of whether you got up to speak, your opinion may not have been recorded.

Just to make sure your voice counts, send a quick email by THURSDAY 10 APRIL 2008 to randal.macnair@fernie.ca simply stating your name, address and whether you agree or disagree with the proposed CBM extraction. Or drop a short note in to City Hall.

Written submissions on the proposal will be received up to 4:00 p.m. April 10, 2008 and must include the writer’s name and street address in order to be considered by Council.
• Submissions may be dropped off to City Hall located at 501 3rd Avenue in Fernie or mailed to the City of Fernie at P.O. Box 190 Fernie, BC V0B 1M0.
• Email submissions can be sent to cityhall@fernie.ca.
• A public meeting on the matter will be held at the City of Fernie Community Centre on Highway #3 in Fernie on Monday April 7, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Those who attend will have the opportunity to listen to presentations from a panel and to comment on the proposal.
