Hi,
I am coming to Fernie to get married in Oct/08. I was wondering if anyone has any sites, view spots that would make for great pictures. I have heard about Island Lake Lodge, but wonder if they charge use their property for pictures?

I don't know who charges for what, but Island Lake would be lovely although it's quite a drive to get up there - if you're not having your wedding there do you really have time on the day to drive half an hour each way to get to your photo spot?
There is a little creek in the Provincial Park that would make some very pretty shots. The Golf Course would give you lots of scope for nice backdrops. The Annex Park has some pretty spots by the river and where the grass areas are near to the duck pond, there's some little bridges that a good photographer would be able to make use of.
Using a local photog would be your best bet, they will have loads of ideas where is best to go and should be able to offer good indoor locations in case of bad weather.
