Six lionesses gorged on a freshly killed wildebeest and allowed me to quietly photograph them from less than 5 metres away(from an open land cruiser. For twenty minutes the bone crunching, flesh-tearing and slurping went on while my partner, and our guide sat mesmerized at the raw reality of the morning meal.
