Fernie will have a daytime shuttle service in place for the ski season this year thanks to all the key stakeholders coming together at the last minute. These include the City of Fernie, Fernie Alpine Resort, the Fernie Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Fernie.
Mountain Shuttle will be doing town to ski hill daytime and evening shuttles daily starting December 16, 2011. There is an early season modified daytime route going to the hill and back to town starting December 10th.
The shuttle will be doing 5 runs every 45 minutes from various locations in town to the ski hill in the morning and 5 runs from the ski hill back to town in the afternoon.
The evening shuttle will have 2 buses running from 6-9pm. one starting from town and one from the ski hill, doing runs between the 2. There will be one bus going from 9pm to 2am.
The cost is $3 for one way and we also offer discounted 10 pack punch cards for $28 and season's passes for $224 all including tax. We also offer charters and airport shuttles.
