Some old faces and some new voices will be representing the citizens of Fernie at the council table and in RDEK committee meetings.
Earlier in the evening the results came in for the RKEK Area A director, which went to Mike Sosnowski for a second term. Director Sosnowski took 361 votes while Dawn Deydey took 296.
Next to be announced was Mayor of Fernie, former councillor Cindy Corrigan won this vote with 843 to Dan McSkimming's 636. Mrs Corrigan will serve as the Mayor of the City of Fernie for the next three years.
City Council results finally came in around 1am, with the following 6 persons elected to the next term of council:
