Wednesday evenings this summer are about to get exciting, but not until July 20th. The Victoria Avenue Summer Initiative hit some road blocks regarding insurance and licensing, and decided to move back the date and offer a series with wicked bands, refreshment gardens and of course the ever popular Mountain Market.
The Downtown Socials - Market and Concert Series is starting with a bang on the 20th from 4pm-8pm. The Fernie Arts Station is presenting The Inhabitants, Fernie Brewing Company is excited to offer its amazing lineup of locally produced products, and Dawn and Sandra of the Mountain Market will have vendors lined up along 6th street for your perusal. Dates include the following:

The committee, comprised of Courtney Baker (The Arts Station, Vanessa Croome (Claris Media), Dawn Deydey (Fernie Mountain Market) and Krista Turcasso (Claris Media) apologise for any confusion and is disappointed as well to delay these exciting summer evenings, but are very excited about the series and music lineup (to be announced shortly), and of course to see the community come together to enjoy some of the most beautiful evenings in Fernie.
